UNDER 18 YEARS OLD
  1. Level 1 License that you have had for a MINIMUM of 6 months
  2. A Segment 2 Certificate
  3. One Parent - no other riders
  4. A vehicle that has a back seat (parent rides with us) and will pass a safety inspection:
    • All THREE brake lights
    • Turn signals
    • Horn
    • Working speedometer
    • Passenger Door must open from inside
    • Rear view/Left side mirror
    • Proper tread on tires
  5. CURRENT Proof of Insurance on the vehicle you bring. If the insurance is EXPIRED (or EFFECTIVE FUTURE date) the test will be terminated and you will be charged a total test fee.
  6. $ 80.00 CASH/$85.00 credit or debit
  7. Driving Log indicating 50 hours have been driven

PLEASE arrive ontime (or a few minutes early) as it is very important to start ON TIME. If you arrive late we will have to RESCHEDULE and will be CHARGED for the test

OVER 18 YEARS OLD
  1. Michigan Temporary Instruction Permit that you have had for a MINIMUM of 30 days (unless "waived" by the Secretary of State's Office)
  2. A vehicle that will pass a safety inspection:
    • All THREE brake lights
    • Turn signals
    • Horn
    • Working speedometer
    • Passenger door must open from inside
    • Rear view/Left side mirror
    • Proper tread on tires
  3. CURRENT Proof of Insurance on the vehicle you bring. If the insurance is EXPIRED (or EFFECTIVE FUTURE date) the test will be terminated and you will be charged a total test fee.

Welcome to Champion Road Skills Champion Road Skills was established in 1997. At Champion Road Skills it is the belief to make everyone as comfortable and less nervous as possible. It is understandable while taking any type of test the participants will be nervous. I find the less nervous anyone is the better they will do. I like to see people do well but will certainly advise them if they need just a little more practice in any part of the test. I am a firm believer in "practice makes perfect".
